He lays out here some rough ideas about the symphony that he anticipates being composed for the museum.

He starts with the “earth’s Formation” which obviously means before there is any life form. THen he moves into the precmabriam and cambrian and so on. He spells out the sorts of sounds he has in ‘ear’ and the instruments that might be used to achieve the results he would like to have.

The second image below shows apparently his idea of which instrument he envisions being the representative for different eras. Obviously, the entire orchestra would be used, but he apparently wanted one instrument to characterize the events of these eras.

I remember hearing from him the he expected that new instsruments might have to be created to achieve new sounds that he would like to have. He needed a DX-7.
