     He made various types of jewelry some for mom, some he sold. In the newspaper photo above you see ivory work and some made out of ‘picture stone’, the bottom right pieces. The ivory was fossil mammoth (mastodon?) that he bought in Fairbanks in December 1941, just after the Japanese bombing of Pearl.

In 1954 he also made Copper Enamel jewelry in Seward
